This is my personal home aquarium, it is center pice of our living room and therefore I decided to invest into high quality and premium product: OASE Higline 300. As a father of two I needed to keep the weekly maintenance requirements in minimum at all cost. Therefore I needed to avoid all stem plants and especially fast growing plants species. This decision allows you to reduce the need of weekly trimming significantly. Fast removal of excess nutrients is ensured by Limnobium laevigatum (floating plant) together with weekly water changes. Main showpiece fish are beautiful Manacapura angelfish accompanied by Lemon Tetras, Carnegiella strigatas, Corydoras duplicareus, and pair of Apistogramas Agasiziis. The fish were selected with regard to South American origin which was the theme after all.
